Bio:
Emily Bjerke is the founder and President of ADAPT; she holds professional registrations nationally through the International Code Council Accessibility Inspector / Plans Examiner, and is a California Registered Access Specialist (CASp). She has an extensive technical background working with:

Over the past 25 years, she has completed over 70 parks, ranging from $1M community parks to $24M regional parks, as well as two IDIQ projects for federal parks and wildlife agencies. Her 60+ high rise projects range from $43M boutique hotels to $200M beachfront resorts. Her entertainment experience includes a $2M winery, a $6M specialty museum, a $2B major event center, and a $2.7B hotel casino. Mixed-use projects include a $500M development, and retail projects range from $4M strip shopping centers to a $391M open air shopping mall. Her education projects include eight student housing projects from $22M to $70M, 24 university classroom projects including a $78M university lab and classroom, a $15M higher ed fine arts performing center, a $69M historical university library remodel and addition, and seven K-12 projects ranging from $8M to $39M.
Emily builds strong relationships with her clients, resulting in repeat business and client recommendations in 90% of her projects.
She enjoys spending time with her family riding bikes, playing board games, and volunteering with animals.
